Tetsuya's

How do you do justice to 3 1/2 years of injustice? (slight exaggeration there :) You have a end of project blowout at Tetsuya's. Tetsuya's is one of the most famous restaurants in Sydney, and is reknown worldwide. It serves Japanese food and it is just magic. You are served 12 course set menu and can get wine matched to each course. It's expensive but the food is just amazing! So lets see if I can do it justice:
bread with truffle butter (mmmm truffles), oysters with not much but OH MY GOD these oytsers were fucking gorgeous!! sushimi tuna on rice with an avo sauce sooooooo good! yellowfin tuna + ocean trout with ginger and asparagus + raw scampi with chicken consume(?)... ok at this point just imagine me saying "Mmmmm delicious" after all of these they all rocked... tasmanian scallop, ravoili with spanner crab (good one gibo), house special ocean trout with seaweed and salmon roe, ok this one gets it's own "how good are you!" it was awesome, spatchcock with something, braised wagu beef, and for dessert ice cream with vanilla beans, shot of gelato and one of cheesecake and finally a...... well whatever it was :D
Was a fantastic night and great to experience a meal like that with good mates. cheers!
